My name is Shaikha AlObaidli and i go by Mad Brush, i started drawing since i was 9 years old, and i started developing my style till i got to where i am now. I started Graffiti & Mural Art back in 2010, and I’ve been loving it ever since!
Basically, I don’t have a certain style to create my ideas or theme. Sometimes it just comes like a random thought and I feel it would be a great painting. In this event i used Pop Art style to deliver the idea i had in mind.
The subject of my pillar is Art and I chosed to draw Yousef AlMutrif’s famous album cover that was released back in 1992. I chose this album because it is one of the most iconic albums ever released in Kuwait and the songs are still being played till this day.
For the topic of beauty, I chose to embody a woman with a traditional look who wears the abaya and burqa. We can feel her captivating beauty even when she is covered. She is holding Bukhoor with the scent of “Shatha”.
